GoTeam

GoTeam is an Australian company that offers outsourcing solutions through its virtual assistance platform to businesses in the UK, the US, Australia, and New Zealand.

Founded in 2014, GoTeam was initially known as GO Virtual Assistants (GO-VA). It rebranded after eight years but still retained “GO” in its name as it captures the company’s definition – setting direction, taking charge, and owning one’s destiny.

The potential difficulties of hiring freelancers helped spark the idea that would lead to GoTeam’s inception. Relatedly, Matt and Fiona Kesby’s (GoTeam’s founders) firsthand experience with a Filipino virtual assistant (VA) left a positive impression on the entrepreneurial siblings.

These factors eventually led to the Kesbys starting their virtual assistance operations in Cebu City in the Philippines.
